Piedmont is much loved for its wine and gastronomy but it is also a wonderful cycling destination with an extensive network of small country roads. On this trip you’ll get the chance to climb several of the the Giro d’Italia favourite cols all whilst having ample time to savour the very best of Italian produce and cooking.
Day 1
Arrive in Italy
Once landed in Turin, you’ll be transferred to your hotel (around 45 min). Upon arrival, our team will make sure your bikes are properly mounted and that you’re ready for the days ahead.
Short ride is possible depending on arrival time.
Night close to Susa
Day 2
Colle delle Finestre
With 55 harpin bends and 14% gradient, Colle Delle Finestre has been a favourite for the Giro de Italia and your first big col of the week. You’ll finish on its classic untarmacked road.

Piedmont hills
A day on typical small country roads awaits as you’re taken from one col to the next.

Col Agnel
Today you’ve got the choice between:
- Rest day (small custom ride possible). You can chill at the hotel or visit one of the beautiful Italian villages nearby.
- Climb Col Agnel via Casteldelfino 22km, average gradient 6,5%

Day 5
Direction Cuneo
Today won’t be too challenging as we ride across stunning landscapes, through vineyards and orchards before ending the day with a breezy 15km descent. You’ll have downtime in the afternoon to explore Cuneo, and unwind over a delicious Italian meal.

Colle dei Morti
Today we’ll face Colle Dei Morti – another regular feature of the Giro. As you reach summit, notice the iconic statue of Marco Pantani. With its steep gradient and impressive views, this col makes it onto any cyclist’s bucket list.

Day 7
Cuneo - Alba
After the tackling the great cols, today takes us through rolling hills all the way to Alba, the capital of white truffles.
Alba’s considerable gastronomic reputation doesn’t just stem from its truffles, but also its decadent chocolate and wine. On your last night make sure to ask us for our recommendations on the best places to eat!

End of the tour
After a leisurely break you’ll be transferred back to Turin airport.
