This short break allows you to discover the wonders of the Langhe, Piedmont’s wine growing region. Rolling terrain, few cars, Barolo and Barbaresco wine and culinary delights all make for a great cycling recipe. A lodge in a renovated farmhouse will serve as our luxury basecamp for the 4 nights, allowing you to settle in and enjoy the fantastic cycling loops that we have organized for you. Not only is this magnificent countryside but it will also help you lay the foundations for a successful cycling season. This is not about conquering huge Alpine Cols but this region with tough rolling terrain offers great early or late season cycling.
Day 1
Arrive in Italy
Upon arrival at Turin airport, you’ll be transferred to the Farmhouse (1h20). Once arrived, our team will make sure your bikes are properly fitted.
A short afternoon ride is possible to organise.
Night south of Alba
Day 2
Bra and Alba
Our first ride will take us in the direction of the baroque town of Bra, most famous for its local sausage. Nothing too challenging awaits as we cycle back via the centre of Alba – the city of white truffles.

Day 3
Between the vineyards
Today you’ll experience the beauty of the Piedmontese landscape through the Langhe countryside on small roads in between vineyards. A few short climbs along the way soon add up to a descent number of vertical meters and this type of interval work is excellent early season training

Pro: 107km with 1850m+

Day 4
Orchards of hazelnut trees
We increase the vertical today with slightly longer and tougher climbs that reach 8km in length with average gradients of around 7%. As we venture further South, we leave the wine region behind and enter hazelnut country, made famous by the invention of Nutella. Another day of typical rolling terrain that offers a variety of routes to suit your levels of cycling. This might not be Alpine territory but rest assured that your legs will have been tested.
