- The Aeroweave upper material has an open, mesh-like structure and is both extremely airy and very durable and resilient. It is so intensively ventilated that the rider’s socks are visible, but effectively holds the foot in position and provides the support and hold required for a professional racing shoe.
- The Powerstrap Velcro closure made of two straps wraps the foot and provides a secure hold. The instep and midfoot are separately adjustable to ensure a customized fit and compression. The straps have been optimized to make them particularly light and strong.
- The R2 carbon fiber outsole is lightweight and has a stiffness index of 10, while a wide ventilation slot and deep internal channels provide cooling airflow. The Cleats are positioned slightly further back compared to traditional settings to optimize pedaling efficiency and take the strain off the knees, which is particularly beneficial in aggressive, forward leaning aero positions.
