VERSATILE BICYCLE MECHANIC & SALES ASSOCIATE (M/F)

🎯 Main mission

The Versatile Mechanic & Sales Associate provides both bicycle maintenance/repairs and customer support in-store. The role is polyvalent, with an approximate split of 50% workshop / 50% shop floor, varying with demand and seasonality. The successful candidate must be passionate about cycling, master technical aspects, and advise customers professionally.

🛠️ Responsibilities

  1. Workshop & Bicycle maintenance
  • Maintain, service and repair bicycles (non-electric and electric, road, MTB, cargo bikes, etc.).
  • Clean and prepare bicycles according to service standards.
  • Systematically test bikes before and after each intervention.
  • Write service reports after each intervention to ensure traceability and accurate follow-up.
  • Make autonomous repair decisions: determine when to contact the customer for a quote or proceed directly with replacing parts to ensure safety and comfort.
  1. Shop floor & Sales
  • Advise customers on maintenance, parts and services suited to their bike (servicing, suspension services, etc.).
  • Sell bicycles, accessories and equipment.
  • Answer the phone and assist customers.
  • Handle warranty cases: photos, supplier forms, packaging and postal pick-up.

🎯 Main mission

Deliver and collect bikes as part of the rental activity, in line with the established delivery schedule. The role also includes customer-facing tasks (rental contracts, payments) as well as logistics and driving duties (transfers and transport).

  • Follow and comply with the delivery schedule set by the manager.
  • Load bikes prepared by the mechanic and secure transport.
  • Deliver and pick up bikes in accordance with procedures.

The Webmaster & Digital Marketing Specialist contributes to the company’s online visibility and growth. They manage the website, create content, lead digital communication initiatives and support the commercial strategy, with a genuine passion for the cycling world.

  1. Website management & development
  • Administer the website (WordPress / Prestashop or another CMS).
  • Update content (products, images, catalogues, articles, etc.).

  • Prepare and clean bikes in line with customer requirements and the delivery schedule set by the manager.
  • Perform routine servicing and make bikes ready before each rental.

  • Assist with loading bikes for deliveries.
  • Monitor the rental schedule on a daily basis.
  • Be responsible for tidying and cleaning the rental workshop (once per week).
