Arrival at Bastia airport and transfer to your hotel. Enjoy the afternoon to visiting the Bastia Citadel and savouring an ice-cream on the old harbour.

First coastal day along the roads of Cape Corse with its 15th century Genoese Towers. The cap is known as an island within the island and this hilly peninsula offers you a wild natural landscape untouched by modern buildings.

Night in St Florent

D3 Tour of Nebbiu

Rest day or ride through the Nebbiu and Patrimonio wine regions. You start in arid landscapes and arrive in a verdant wilderness with fountains and waterfalls. Enjoy the view over the Gulf of St Florent and finish your ride through the vineyards of Patrimonio

D4 From the Agriates to the Balagne

Cross the Agriates desert to reach the small perched villages in Balagne. The balcony road is amazing with endless stunning viewpoints overlooking the sea. The turquoise water and red rocks announce your arrival in the little town of Ile Rousse.

D5 Loop in Balagne, Calvi

From village to village, your route is a panorama of fabulous scenery. One last climb before reaching Calvi and its port, citadel and white sandy beaches. Ride back inland to the charming Lake Codole.

Night near Ile Rousse

D6 Balagne - Corte

Head into the Corsican heartland with its breathtaking mountain landscape. The route is hilly and takes you through ever-changing scenery with animals often crossing your path. The view of the Citadel in its mountain setting announces that the end of the stage is near !

Sportive : 95km with 2400m+

D7 Corte, bike or hiking

You can choose between biking or hiking

#1 Ride up the Restonica Gorges, 15km of climbing to reach the Bergeries de Grotelle for an impromptu lunch with local products such as Corsican cheese, cured meat and chestnut beer.

Sportive : 100km with 2300m+ (loop around Corte)

#2 Take the shuttle directly up to the summit of the Restonica gorges. From here, there is a wonderful hiking trail to reach two famous Corsican lakes : Melu and Capitellu. About 3-4 hours.

D8 Corte to the sea

The final stage with its highlight, the magnificent Castagniccia region, rich with chestnut trees and baroque villages. After a long descent, you will reach the coast...and the end of your trip.
