Alps, Chateaux and the Savoy Lakes

Day 1 Arrival in Geneva


Greeted at Geneva airport and accompanied to your hotel in the city centre.


Day 2 Geneva-Annecy

In just a few minutes you leave the fervour of Geneva behind you to climb Mont Salève (1379m) and the Alpine foothills. This route offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
Active: 60km with 900m+
Sportive: 90km with 1700m+ 


Night in the centre of Annecy

Day 3 Annecy-Chambéry

Direction Chambéry via the Massif des Bauges: Col de Leschaux (897m) and Col des Près (1135m). The final descent is magical, you plunge towards Chambéry and its lake on a sublime winding road.

Active: 60km with1100m+ 
Sportive: 100km with 1700m+

Day 4 Tour of Bourget

Ride around the Bourget lake. This is the largest glacier formed lake in France and you will see it from all its angles. The circuit is not entirely flat with a beautiful 7km climb awaiting you.

Sportif: 95km with 1875m+

Day 5 Chambéry-Albertville, Miolans castle

Ride between vineyards to join the Massifs of the Bauges, Chartreuse and Belledonne. A halt at the stunning Château de Miolans gives a glimpse into history, it was built in the 7th century and listed in 1944.


Leisure: 55km with 600m+
Sportif: 90km with 1900m+

Night in Albertville 

Day 6 Albertville-Annecy

This is the shortest stage  with an enjoyable climb. The ascent of Col de Tamié ( 907m ) offers a superb view of Albertville before diving down towards Lake Annecy. The final section is along the flat cycle path beside the lake; car-free and with several beaches where you can enjoy a refreshing swim.


Leisure: 50km pour 700m+
Sportive: 100km pour 2460m+

Night in the centre of Annecy

Day 7 Annecy-Geneva, Montrottier Castle

The final day's riding in this beautiful region. During the day take time to visit the magnificent Montrottier castle which dates to the 13th century. A small rolling road leads you to Geneva where its Swiss cyclepaths are a real pleasure for cyclists.

Day 8 Final day

After breakfast a taxi will take you to Geneva airport
