You’ll start off from Pisa and ride deep into the Tuscan hills before heading to the coast. Highlights include staying on Elba Island, most famous for harbouring Napoleon during his 1814 exile. The extraordinary richness of its landscapes, both land and marine, turns the island of Elba into a unique destination in Tuscany. Picture crystalline blue waters, golden hills and cobblestoned villages.
The tour ends in the Chianti region with rides through vineyards and afternoons filled with the very best wine.
Day 1
Arrival
Following a welcome at Pisa airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in a small village south of Pisa. Your bikes will be properly fitted before we set off on a short warm up ride across the countryside.

Day 2
Volterra
We’ll head for the Tuscan hills meandering through small country roads before taking on the big climb up to the town of Volterra, our home for the night.

Day 3
Volterra to the coast
Say goodbye to Volterra as we descend down to the sea. Winding roads will take us along the coast to Piombino harbour where we take a boat to the island of Elba. You’ll spend two nights in a lovely quaint hotel.

Elba Island
Take your pick from one of the following:
*Day-off, relax and visit Elba Island, most famous for harbouring Napoleon during his 1814 exile. You can visit his villa, Portoferraio and all the island has to offer.
*Tour the island by bike, giving you access to incredible views over Pianosa, Capraia, Monte Cristo and even Corsica

Day 5
Elba to Sienna
After a short boat transfer, our longest stage awaits us as we head for Sienna.

Day 6
Sienna, Chianti and San Gimignano
The day begins with a visit of Sienna by bike: sunshine, Piazza Del Campo and loads of great photo opportunities! Next, we make our way to the famous vineyards of the Chianti region stopping for coffee before in Radda. The night is spent in San Gimignano.

Day 7
San Gimignano to Pisa
A last easy ride will take us through the beautiful Tuscan countryside before reaching Pisa and its famous leaning tower. Our final night is spent in the city centre.
