Our cycling tips in and around Malaucène

Where we love to ride, grab a coffee or have a glass of wine

Why has Malaucène become such a popular cycling destination ?

Mont Ventoux of course is the cycling destination of a lifetime and although most people will have heard of the more famous ascent from Bedoin, Malaucène is the start of the third way up to the Giant of Provence.

Compared to the other two routes the way up from Malaucène is the second hardest but also feels quieter and makes Mont Ventoux feel more remote.

Malaucène makes for a great cycling base not just become of the Giant of Provence but also because of the huge variety of great cycling routes in the Provence countryside.
